This 1/2-day conference featured a Funder’s Panel and a Fair spotlighting varying types of funders and what they look for in funding small business owners’ start-ups and expansion plans. Participants also heard about programs to assist them in creating strong strategic business and growth plans to attract funders and to use as a road map for accomplishing their growth. Social media marketing was also spotlighted.

What are the various lenders looking for? When will the money be available? My business is hurting now…need an infusion of cash, but how to get money when you aren’t making money? How do I start a business in a down economy? Where do I get help to produce a growth plan and a loan package? and Should I go to a bank, micro lender or credit institution?
